About Waterland Plantation Management Data System (PMDS)

The reporting framework currently being used by Waterland is the PMDS (Plantation Management data system). The PMDS is a structured, continuous process of collecting, monitoring & reporting data information from the Bio Fuel crops plantations down- till up- stream processes. It is intended to serve as a generally accepted framework for reporting on plantations activity (planting, yields, farmers etc.), production activities (oil, storage etc.), logistic (local and international transport), track & tracing, sustainability management system (SMS), and economic, environmental and social performance of the company.

It is designed for use for all involved stakeholders, from farmers till end users with extensive and geographically dispersed operations/locations. The PMDS framework contains general and specific content that has been agreed by a wide range of stakeholders for reporting our organization’s activities and sustainability performance.
